Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield - If Luxury had another name !
Luxury, grandeur and magnificence are the first three words that strike my mind when I try to describe the Marriott Whitefield Hotel in Bengaluru. From the glorious lobby to the grand swimming pool, from the twin towers to the spiral steps. It all translates well into the three words that I mentioned above.
Perched in one of the busiest business areas of the city Marriott Whitefield is the perfect option for your business trips to the city or for that perfect city staycation with your family.
One thing that stood out for me was the warm and cordial staff. Right from the checkin up until the checkout, they made sure to make my stay at Marriott a memorable one.
The property is indeed grand as they have over 390 rooms. I was lodged at a splendid suite with the view of the pool for a two day staycation. You can however choose a city view room too. My suite comprised of a lovely and huge drawing room, a bed room with the comfiest bed ever and a bathroom that needs to be called out for its sheer luxurious design. There was a television set inside the bathroom so that you can be entertained even while you relax in the tub before calling it a night.
Now lets talk about the food here. Not exaggerating even a bit. Apart from the huge inroom dining menu that is available to be delivered right to room 24 hours of the day, there are five finely curated restaurants / bars at the property where they spoil you for choice and how.
M-Cafe - This is an all day dining restaurant that is open to you even if you’re not staying at the hotel. You can comfortably enjoy the Indian, Asian and other International cuisines either by sitting inside the dining room or the outside patio and enjoy the delicious food.
M-Bar - Looking for a place in Whitefield, Bengaluru to enjoy some evening cocktails with your friends or colleagues? The cozy lounge set up of M-Bar coupled with the bespoke cocktails and some Fussball - sounds like a perfect evening, doesnt it?
Alto Vino - Got a thing for Italian cuisine? I seriously do. If you love your Italian food and wine then Alto Vino is your heaven. The elaborate collection of fine wine along with your perfect pizza, pasta or so much more from the menu makes this one of my favourite restaurants at the property.
WBG - Whitefield Bar & Grill - This award winning restaurant is loved by the people of Bengaluru and I could definitely see why. Care for some barbecue next to the glittering pool on the roof top? WBG is perfect for your romantic rendezvous. This could be the next destination for your date.
Whitefield Baking Company - Need to rush for your early morning meetings but hunger strikes? Just grab a tasty sandwich or that perfectly baked croissant or select from the tastiest cakes and pastries. This is the place to satiate your sweet tooth.
Well, eat without thinking about anything at all because there also is a health centre right inside the property so you can never miss a workout and stay healthy even during your staycation. Not a gym person but a water baby instead? Worry not, for the swimming pool has got you covered. The pool area is one of the best places and my personal favourite at the property. In the pool or outside, you can just sit and relax, sunbathe or swim all you want.
I had a great couple of days at Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield and it couldn’t be any better because I was so ready for the work week to take me up after the staycation of my life at one of the most resplendent properties in the city. Thank you for hosting me and I can’t wait to be back.
