Casa Mali by Dominion – Your home away from home

Hola chicos, como estan? Last week I was at Casa Mali, a stunning luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Mexico City. It’s located in an old colonial building overlooking Parque Mexico in La Condesa, one of the hippest areas in the city. Hence, making your way to it from the airport is just a short Uber ride away and once there you are in one of the coolest neighbourhoods with pubs, bars, museums, parks, etc. a stone’s throw away.

Well, now that we have taken care of the bountifulness of the location let me tell you more about Casa Mali. As soon as I stepped in a massive, gorgeous chandelier caught my eye. Its brilliance shone upon the checkered blue and black floors that had me obsessed during my entire stay. The check-in process was smooth and quick and the staff were all smiles and glad to help with any queries that I had.

The reception area, lobby and the waiting lounge are all done elegantly with a hint of modernity concealed within the chic walls – for example the Sonos sounds system all over the hotel churning out calm and relaxing tunes all day. The beautifully painted glass windows across the staircase or the cute little bicycles kept at the entrance, everything about this place is so remarkable.

There are 21 beautifully and carefully designed suites that are plush and spacious and each one defines luxury like no other place in the vicinity. You can choose from Studio, Junior Suite or Master Suite.

Each one is equipped with a kitchenette, flat screen television (ours had two of them), the comfiest bathrobe and slippers, coffee makers, molten brown products in the bathroom, room service and complimentary Wi-Fi which runs like no other Wi-Fi I have used in any other hotel before (in a good way of course). Oh and not to forget, you can travel with your furry companion to Mexico City because this is a pet friendly hotel and your fur babies can live with you here. With the heat wave in Mexico City these days the Air conditioner in the room was definitely a plus for me

You can always plan a long vacation and live here like it’s your own home for days stretching into months. There’s a beautiful rooftop garden, a Jacuzzi and a gym inside the property. You can take care of your health, enjoy a beautiful evening with a glass of wine and relax your senses after a hard day of work or a super fun day exploring the beauty of Mexico City. You can also enjoy a relaxing spa right inside your room by requesting for one. I had a great time chilling in the Jacuzzi and then a spa next morning.

Casa Mali by Dominion has won multiple prestigious awards in the travel industry and when I stayed there I understood why. They deserve all the awards because the hotel is one of its kind and they make their guests feel special and extremely welcome.

There is a complimentary breakfast in your package and it’s everything you can ask for early in the morning. Fresh breads, cold cut meats, granola and yogurt, coffee, juices and much more. And you can always prepare something for yourself in the kitchenette in your room if you need more

I would highly recommend Casa Mali for your stay in Mexico City. If there is a time when I am not living in the city permanently and am planning a trip here, I am definitely going to be staying at Casa Mali.
