Hyatt Regency Lucknow – A luxurious hideout for your escapes
Hey guys, how are you all doing? Anjuri and I had checked into Hyatt Regency Lucknow a few days ago and we were itching to share our experience with you guys. So here it comes!

Located at one of the poshest locations in Lucknow, Gomti Nagar, the hotel stands tall and pretty. All the tourist attractions are just a short drive away and you may request a ride for yourself at the concierge. The staff is very pleasant and helpful and will go all out to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Upon entering, you’ll see a beautiful center piece that really catches your eye, also located in the lobby is a small takeaway style restaurant “Market” where you can enjoy some of the most amazing cakes and sandwiches accompanied with great coffee or tea. This one is open 24 hours and serves all your midnight cravings just right!

The check in procedure was simple and swift and we were in our room in no time. We had requested for a room on the higher floor and we got one on the eighth.

It took us a while to reach from the lift to our room, but we did not mind as the pathway was well lit and gorgeous, like a ramp. The room was not too big but within the space it was very tastefully done, and the interiors were minimalistic and beautiful, just how we love.

Anjuri really loves to stay on track with her fitness regime even when she is traveling and so I was not surprised when she decided to spend some time at the gym which was situated right next to the spa and swimming pool area.

The gym was fitted with all the latest equipment, making sure you won’t miss a day even when on a vacation.

Although we both can’t swim, I know I know, not cool and we are going to learn soon, but we still had to spend time by the pool and enjoy a couple of drinks there. If you know how to swim, you must not miss their scenic swimming pool.

After exploring the stunning property, we were really hungry and were spoilt for choice when we got to know there were three restaurants LukJin, Rocca and UP’s. At LukJin they serve Chinese and Thai cuisine, food so authentic and tasty, you’ll be unable to decide, what to order and what to skip!

We however decided to have our lunch and dinner at Rocca and spent a great evening with cocktails unheard of at UP’s. We loved the amazing buffet spread at Rocca, where they had Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisines and oh the spread of dessert was what had our heart.

We really have a sweet tooth. We ate more than what our stomach could accommodate, that’s how amazing the food was.

At the evening, we could not wait to get our hands on the most talked about creative cocktails served at UP’s, the beautifully decorated bar cum lounge where you can spend your evening with friends, family or colleagues for some drinks before heading for dinner.

We had “Bareilly ka Jhumka”, a wonderful concoction of vodka, jamun juice and lime. This one is served with an actual jhumka (traditional Indian earring). You got to buy the second drink, so you can earn yourself a pair of beautiful earrings. Isn’t it just a lovely concept. The other one we tried was “Moradabadi Mule” mixed with vodka, ginger ale and lime was a drink so refreshing, made our evening perfect.

Everything about Hyatt was so brilliant, from the conventional yet contemporary décor of the hotel to the super thoughtful staff, from the state of the art gym to the lovely outdoor swimming pool, from the beautiful walkways to the cozy rooms where we had the best evenings, sipping coffee and eating croissants.

You must stay there to experience what we experienced, and if you do, don’t forget to share your experience with us.
